A bridge, left of centre in the image, is across the route of the beck which is seen here from a bridge carrying the Leamside Line - a railway route, now disused and with the track lifted. The two neatly clipped areas of grass have all the appearance of golfing greens and there is a course nearby but not quite at the location seen here. And would there be two greens so closely adjacent?
