Former stable block, rear of Nos.2 & 3 King's Place, George Street, mid-19th century. 'Holyrood' inscribed on band. This is probably all that was executed of a plan to build a square called Holyrood around the 15th century Kilnsea Cross, erected 1828, in what is, today, the grounds of the adjacent Holyrood House.
