A generally modest run of Victorian commercial brick buildings but with some quite nice details and the usual lively rooflines. Left to right: - no. 34 is by S. Dutton Walker and dated 1879 - no. 32, also by Dutton Walker, dated 1878 with tiled gables (Image]) - no. 30, possibly by John Collyer, 1875 - nos. 26-28, the grandest, built as the Constitutional Club by A.R. Calvert, 1897. Stone with a big shaped gable. All grade II listed. All now shops and offices, though the latter two were empty at the time.
