This bridge over the River Arun dates from 1839 and is Grade II listed. However beneath it are the narrower stone arches, two round-headed and one pointed, of the older bridge. That probably dates from around 1500 but two of arches were rebuilt about 1700. The smaller red brick bridge (behind the photographer) over the Wey and Arun Canal, dates from 1815-8.
