Opened in 1848 by the Scottish Central Railway, later part of the Caledonian Railway, on what is today the line from Edinburgh and Glasgow to Perth. View north west towards Bridge of Allan and Perth, also Alloa. This image was taken around 10 years before the line was electrified - see Image for an updated view from the same position in 2018.
