Built in 1890 for the firm of Oakley & Watling who were a prestigious supplier of fruits, vegetables and flowers to many of the best shipping companies. The letters O and W are displayed either side of the top storey window, the row of roundels above the first floor windows display grapes, bananas and pineapples, and at the top of the building is the depiction of a 'Southampton hulk' a local form of trading vessel. The ceramic/terracotta facade was provided by the Doulton company in their Carraraware style. Listed Grade II.
