Opened in 1857 by the Great Northern Railway on the line from Wakefield to Bradford and Halifax via Tingley, this station closed to passengers in 1955 and completely in 1968, and the site was later redeveloped. View east towards Morley Top and Wakefield. The image was taken from roughly where the station building stood, over the tracks, looking down onto the site of the platforms.
