This was a surprise to find a chapel so high on the slopes of the Black Mountains above Tregoyd. Having seen it marked on the OS map I expected it to be redundant, but it is still in use. There is a monthly service, nearby is a recently rebuilt old stable/storeroom in the grounds which is used by the church community. Here the church is viewed from the west. It is situated at the end of a no through road at approximately 370m (1200ft) above sea level.
