It is not clear whether Hurn House has been demolished and rebuilt or just renovated - either way, though, this is a major project of one of Bournemouth University's numerous buildings in the busy Lansdowne area of the town centre. Its former next-door neighbour, the shorter, brick-built Central House, has certainly been demolished - it stood in the narrow frontage immediately to the right of the lamppost.
