Bench mark on milestone

This milestone is a Grade II listed structure on the east side of the main road. It features unusual "thataway" finger-pointers. On top of the stone is an Ordnance Survey "rivet" benchmark indicating a height above mean sea level of 34.9423 metres (Newlyn Datum).
