We met the owner of this former station on this visit and he couldn't have been friendlier, showing us around his garden and regaling us with tales of how he remembered waiting at the station when he was small and how the trains shook the ground as they passed. He generously allowed me to walk up the old line to Fawley Tunnel, but sadly it was a bit too dark for photography in the overgrown cutting.
