An obviously delighted baton holder (number 096) enjoys his moment of fame as he walks down London Road in Stranraer to the applause of the crowd. Baton holders were advised to walk and enjoy the moment and most did, although a couple of holders decided it was a relay race and ran their leg, which was over pretty quickly in the 100 yards or so most folk had to cover. Still, everyone enjoyed it and the weather was very kind.
