View eastward from Oldbury Road near Station Street. The Quay branch, past the original (1840) Tewkesbury Station, left the later (1865) Midland Railway line from Ashchurch to Malvern at Tewkesbury Junction (ahead, past the Engine Shed - beside the prominent, surviving malt-house and ran on the right, parallel with Station Street. The Quay branch was closed (west of the engine-shed) in 12/57: the main branch to Great Malvern was closed Upton-on-Severn - Malvern 1/12/52, Ashchurch - Upton 14/8/61 (for passengers, 1/7/63 for goods) and the line from Ashchurch to Tewkesbury survived for goods until 2/11/64.
