There are two Rhondda Cynon Taf council notices at the entrance to an open space beyond the northern end of Harold Street. The larger notice on a pole shows "In the interest of public safety the riding or exercising of horses within this area of public open space is prohibited." The smaller notice shows "NO DOGS ALLOWED IN CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA".
