A Llanharan Community Development Project, the Drop-In Centre in Bridgend Road provides a venue for all age groups. There are adult learning classes, surgeries associated with the Job Centre Plus and Rhondda Cynon Taf Housing Services and a recreational outlet for community groups in the area. The centre has a small café (Arcadia) and provides a free creche during courses.
