View SE from the Coton Lane bridge: ex-LNWR WCML Trent Valley section. For the recent improvement of the WCML, the stretch of double-track remaining between Tamworth and Armitage was quadrupled. Here the two new tracks are being provided on the east (Up) side. (See also Image]).
