Viewed across Union Street. The church is between Chester's main shopping area and Grosvenor Park on the north bank of the River Dee. Werburgh (or Wærburh or Werburh or Werburga), died c700AD, was an Anglo-Saxon princess who became an English saint and the patron saint of Chester.
