Surrounded by beech-clad hills and good walking country, the unpretentious Hawkley Inn enjoys a peaceful position on the edge of the village. Accessed by narrow lanes, it is well off-the-beaten-track and has become an established watering hole among the walkers who tramp the Hangers Way between Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Alton.
