The Giant's Grave standing stones, with Black Combe hill seen between them. One theory of the alignment is that they indicate a safe route through the hills, being lined up to point towards the seaward end of the Whicham Valley. Daft Dog cares not a jot for the many theories; there are far too many interesting scents to follow.
