Between Nos.28 & 30 Holland Street, newly-refurbished court housing at Elsie Villas, looking east and across the road towards No.29 Holland Street. The street was laid out late 1890s. 210 privately-owned dwellings in Holland Street were originally to be demolished and replaced by new houses. Subsequently, it was decided that the City Council would fund external solid wall insulation, rendering, boundary walls, railings and refurbishment work to the existing stock. Work began in Autumn 2013.
