Newbattle Viaduct

A fine grade B listed viaduct comprising 23 arches in total built in 1847. The viaduct originally carried the "Waverley" line from Edinburgh to Carlisle. It is presently being used to transport material for the construction of the "Border Railway" to Tweedbank and will eventually be used as part of that line.
