The doorway is 13th century Early English, although the surrounding masonry may be later reconstruction. The door itself is 19th century, but has been set with a series of much older iron straps, dating from the 12th and 13th centuries. Some have clearly been shortened and therefore could not have belonged to this particular door. Listed Grade I.
