Vehicle access to this end of High Street is prevented by the two movable black and yellow metal posts. The grey metal posts are fixed. The movable posts can be lowered by a vehicle with the appropriate device, such as buses. The posts move back into place as soon as a vehicle has passed by, preventing a second vehicle from sneaking in.
