Bank branch at 21 High Street, a late Victorian building (1892). Evidence of its original usage remains in the form of inscriptions in stone above the doorways. The inscription above the left doorway is SALOP FIRE OFFICE. The inscription above the right doorway is SHROPSHIRE & N WALES (perhaps a bank?).
