This church will soon be moved for the second time in its history. In 1903 the Rev. Bailey had it moved from Great Warley, in Essex. The next move is only about 25m to the south-west, and will allow a housing estate to be built in most of the large plot. The Lady Chapel, which projects from the north side of the chancel, will become a link to a new church hall, and there will be a new north porch at the western end, between the wooden buttresses decorated with quatrefoils.
