Finsthwaite, St Peter's Church

The large, unusually shaped St Peter's Church dates from 1873 and replaced an earlier structure on the site. The church has an unusual squat steeple, a timber framed porch and some interesting interior features. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 421439 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-421439-church-of-st-peter-colton-cumbria British Listed Buildings)
