A scrap yard on Salamander Street is overlooked by a large development of apartment blocks. The apartments have been built in what appears to be an area dominated by light industry close to the Port of Leith. Construction of the scheme has recently been completed as contractors were still on site adding the finishing touches to the block of the left of the photo.
