This area is classic mixed farmland with sheep dairy and arable crops. Much of the land is owned by the Earl of Plymouth Estates. Curiously, the farm in the middle of the picture although apparently well established, does not appear on the OS 1:25000 map, but is shown on the 1:50000 version.
