The East window, C15, contains stained glass by Kempe (1837-1907) was erected by Mary Beckett and Dame Elizabeth Bacon in memory of Sir Thomas Beckett (d.1872) who undertook the church restoration in 1849 at a cost of £1,000 and who built the village school. The central panel features the Crucifixion, to the left is St Laurence with St Thomas to the right. Kempe's coat of arms is displayed in the tracery (top right) and that of the Beckett family (top left).
