This neat but otherwise unassuming period building is currently up for sale. However, in times gone by it was a lodging for Charles George Gordon (1833-85) whilst he was a pupil at Fullands House School. Gordon went on to forge an outstanding military career overseas and is known as Gordon of Khartoum.
