The south-western elevation of the main campus building. In April 2013 Regent's College met the criteria to become a university, having been awarded taught degree awarding powers in the autumn of 2012. It was in 1984 that a Crown lease was taken by Rockford College, Illinois to found Regent's College. Gradually other institutions began to share the campus. The European Business School London moved here in 1987 and the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology was established in 1990. In 1994 the college agreed with Webster University in St Louis Missouri to provide its London campus and deliver its degrees through the Webster Graduate School and the British American College in London. The Regent's Business School was established here in 1997 and most recently, the London School of Film, Media and Performance was established here too as part of the Humanities and Social Science faculty in 2009.
