The rectangular block-shaped building above the vehicles is an electricity sub-station erected by the long-gone Leeds Corporation Electricity Department. With magnification, the initials will be seen on the door lintel. (A close-up is shown at another photo in this square.) The contractors' fencing is being erected for the long-promised redevelopment of this site close to Leeds Market and the sub-station will shortly disappear forever.
