No.7 Scale Lane was originally the Blade Bone public house 1810, the Splaw Bone 1831, Earl Grey 1834, Black Bull 1838, and The Manchester Arms from 1873. Rebuilt 1898, with good Queen Anne style façade, designed by Brodrick, Lowther & Walker.
