If you think the girders look familiar, for example like those in http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1639596, it is because these were recycled from the first Tay Rail Bridge which collapsed in December 1879. Most of the upper part of the single track bridge were transferred to the new bridge. These three sections became the first bridge over the Tay at Caputh.
