Formerly known as Hobgoblin farmhouse, now split into two dwellings. Early 17th century build, this house is unusual for the locality in being built of stone. This may well come from earlier buildings as there was said to be a monastic grange, attached to Repton Priory, on the site. This is thought also to be the origin of the (heavily vegetated) wall with gateway in the foreground, which is of 14th century origin. Both house and wall are Listed Grade II.
