This photograph was taken with a 6x6 Yashicamat, and the original reveals a wealth of detail which may not be apparent on the Geograph web site. Both of the gentlemen in the canoe are well past their first flush of youth. One has a bottle of beer to his lips, while the other wears an inane grin suggesting that he has already imbibed a quantity of the same liquid. Meanwhile the children on the towpath are much amused by the whole affair.
