Possibly once a farmhouse, now a private house. Both Spernall and Spernal occur in local place-names. This is one of a scatter of houses and farms along the southwest side of the A448 Bromsgrove Road, which is the parish boundary between Studley, all built up, and Sambourne, Arden countryside.
