A path comes from near the Grandstand, crosses the racecourse twice and the open downland in between and the horse ride seen at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3978435 before plunging into the woodland of Walton Downs. This view is just before the racecourse is reached for the second time and looks down the course to the start.
