A view of farm buildings and machinery from the footpath with its bridge over a drain. The huge fields and arable style are critically dependent upon high-output mechanisation. The implement is a disc harrow, used for breaking up ploughed ground, while chopping and incorporating crop residues. It is seen folded up so that it can be transported on narrow roads and tracks.
