Footpath through Crag Cliff Wood

A well used footpath through woods south of Grosmont. The original path is to the left and is a paved causeway, known in the North York moors as a trod. These paved causeways were usually provided for use by horses and typically consist of stone slabs 500mm wide, 450mm long and 130mm thick. This one probably ran right through to Goathland.
