On the left is the Holyhead Road junction on the inner ring road and beyond are the flats in Spon End ( Image ). In the centre is St Osburg's church and its associated school on the corner of Upper Hill St / Abbotts Lane; behind it is the Aston Court Hotel on Holyhead Road. The car park on the right is on a site once occupied by a gas holder.
