On this mid-April evening, looking back to the entrance to the site and the short trackway from the car park. It is possible to walk around this 32 acre near rectangular hill fort, a popular route at any time of year with wide-ranging views. An excavation in 1976 prior to the laying of a pipeline through the site revealed many finds, including a crouched burial. Time photo taken 6.42 pm BST (British Summer Time). Image Image
