High Street car park south of Hall Street, Blackwood

The long, narrow car park is behind shops on the eastern side of High Street. Its shape suggests a former railway site, a conjecture confirmed by a 1940s map, which shows a railway here. Blackwood railway station (long since demolished) used to be about 600 metres behind the camera.
