Former County Primary School, Wix Road

As I was taking my photograph of the former school, a couple of locals appeared and asked if I was an estate agent. Their query referred to the house to the left of the building (part of which is just visible) which they said somebody had been doing up during the past year but on which nothing had been carried out for the past six months. I said my interest lay in the larger building, which they confirmed as a school and said was due to be knocked down and replaced with houses, to which they were opposed. To date no planning application has been submitted to Tendring District Council relating to the demolition of this building.
