Since this 2006 picture http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/215069, the pub is no longer painted pink. The sign sticking out of the side of the pub is unusual but similar to others in this area, for example, the Fox and Hounds in Barley http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3446767 and The Carrier (now closed and converted to a house but the sign is still there) http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3778181.
