View northward from the station platform. This LMS Fowler 7F 2-8-0 was built 1925 as S&D No. 88, later No. 13808, and with the other 10 of the class worked on the Somerset & Dorset from Bath throughout until withdrawn 2/64. It was rescued from Woodham's scrapyard at Barry on 3/10/70, taken to Radstock, then to the WSR on 8/1/76 - actually before the WSR began to run trains (to Blue Anchor) on 28/3/76.
