The road bridge at the head of the harbour is Grade II Listed and was remodelled sometime after 1854 as a photograph of this date shows it with a flat timber lintel. Similarly listed the house in the background, now a restaurant, is reputed to be 16th century but more probably 18th century. The Projecting wing over the stream supported with oak props giving it the name was completely remodelled in the 20th century.
