The Maxol petrol station with integrated Spar shop at the apex of the Ballyholme and the Donaghadee Roads in Bangor. Today petrol was 130.9 pence a litre with diesel selling at 136.9 (compare with the higher prices in September 2013 at Image; see also Image from 2007, although I didn't record the prices). There has been a petrol station here for many years; I can remember Taylor's garage on this site which was then redeveloped as a 24 hour opening Maxol station around 1993 (the opening hours were later scaled back and it normally closes at 11pm now).
