The former farmhouse, Wold View Dairy Farm, built 1912 on a plot of 54 acres. Leonard Rodmell was the first tenant. The Rodmell family were well-known in the farming community in Sutton on Hull, once having extensive holdings within the parish. The farm was purchased by the City Council in 1965, the land being used for the development of Bransholme housing estate. The farmhouse has survived, with an extension, and is now occupied by Cherub Nurseries.
