Luss Road is on the left; branching off to the right is a road leading to Blackhill Roads Depot. The depot and its access road are marked on the 1:25000 map. As the map shows, there are reservoirs behind the wall on the left; one of them can be seen from here, by looking to the north-west, but it is out of shot to the left: see Image, taken from almost the same spot. The John Muir Way follows the pavement alongside Luss Road; it crosses the junction here, and carries on straight ahead.
